Last October, Manu and I recorded an album in a 13th-century monastery high in the Austrian Alps. It was an unforgettable experience; we captured video, photos, and audio, and are immensely proud of the results. The project is built around spacious, percussive dialogue - drawing from our shared roots in improvisation, contemporary classical, and global traditions. Our first single "Inhale" is a meditative, deeply textured instrumental piece. Blending Manu's masterful handpan playing with my hammered dulcimer, we created a lush, spacious soundscape that feels both ancient and contemporary.
